Promoter

This workshop is conducted by Fairfield Central Shopping Centre Pty Ltd (ABN 20 296 237 688) of 2–30 Lakeside Drive, Idalia QLD 4811 (Promoter).

 

Workshop Period

The workshop will run from Tuesday 7 July 2026 to Friday 10 July 2026 during advertised workshop hours, or until daily capacity has been reached.

 

Eligibility

The workshop is designed for children aged 3 to 12 years; however, participation by children outside this age range may be permitted at the Promoter's discretion.

 

All children must be accompanied and actively supervised by a parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult aged 18 years or over at all times while participating in the workshop.

 

The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry where these requirements are not met.

 

Workshop Inclusions

The workshop consists of free, hands-on science-themed activities designed for children.

 

Workshop activities include: 

 

  • Day 1 – Exploding Volcano Factory

  • Day 2 – Alien Lava Bottle Lab

  • Day 3 – Cosmic Slime Station

  • Day 4 – Galaxy Gloop Experiment

 

Activities may involve the use of craft materials, liquids, powders, colouring agents, sensory materials, slime ingredients, containers, scientific props, small parts, tools, and other workshop supplies.

 

Activities may vary from those advertised and may be substituted, modified, or cancelled without notice.

 

Participants may be permitted to take home items created during the workshop, subject to availability and supplier discretion.

 

Workshop activities may involve materials that could stain clothing or personal belongings. Participants are encouraged to wear suitable clothing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for damage to clothing or personal belongings arising from participation in the workshop.

 

Participation in all workshop activities is voluntary and undertaken at the participant's own risk.

 

Registration / Entry Mechanics

The workshop operates on a walk-in basis only, with no bookings or reservations available.

 

Participation is offered on a first-come, first-served basis and wait times may apply.

 

Participation Requirements

Workshop capacity is limited to approximately 200 participants per day; however, participation is subject to availability on the day.

 

Workshops are free; no payment is required.

 

One session per child per day applies unless otherwise permitted by staff.

 

Parents or guardians must accompany and actively supervise children at all times and ensure safe use of materials.

 

Customers are required to provide limited details on the attendance sign-in sheet upon arrival.

 

The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any participant engaging in unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behaviour.

 

Workshop Availability

Workshop materials are available strictly while stocks last and may vary without notice.

 

Once daily capacity has been reached, no further participants will be admitted.

 

The Promoter does not guarantee availability.

 

General Conditions

This workshop is delivered by Charlibelle Parties (ABN 51 543 578 904) on behalf of the Promoter.

 

Fairfield Central is located at 2–30 Lakeside Drive, Idalia QLD 4811.

 

Participation in the workshop is at the participant’s own risk.

 

By participating in the workshop, attendees (and their parent or guardian) consent to being photographed or filmed during the event. The Promoter may use such content for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation, unless otherwise advised at the time of the event.

 

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all liability for any loss, damage, or injury suffered in connection with participation, except where liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

 

The Promoter is not responsible for any personal belongings brought to the workshop.

 

The Promoter reserves the right to verify participation and to refuse entry or remove any attendee who breaches these Terms and Conditions or engages in fraudulent behaviour.

 

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for customers who are unable to participate due to walk-in availability, wait times, or daily capacity limits.

 

All decisions made by the Promoter regarding participation and conduct are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the workshop if unforeseen circumstances arise, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, technical issues, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

 

Workshop activities may involve materials that could stain clothing or personal belongings. Participants are encouraged to wear suitable clothing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for damage to clothing or personal belongings arising from participation in the workshop.

 

Workshop activities may involve the use of various ingredients, materials, and supplies that may contain or come into contact with common allergens.

 

Such allergens may include, but are not limited to, gluten, wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, latex, food-based ingredients, adhesives, colouring agents, paints, and sensory materials.

 

While reasonable care may be taken in the preparation and delivery of workshop activities, neither the Promoter nor its contractors can guarantee an allergen-free environment.

 

Parents and guardians are solely responsible for determining the suitability of workshop activities and materials for their child, including consideration of any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, behavioural needs, or sensory requirements.

 

The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any allergic reaction, illness, injury, or adverse health outcome arising from participation in the workshop or exposure to workshop materials.

 

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

 

Privacy

Personal information may be collected as part of participating in this workshop for purposes including attendance tracking, safety, administration, and workshop management.

 

Where personal information is provided, it must be accurate and complete.

 

Any personal information collected will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and will only be used for purposes related to the administration and delivery of the workshop, including contacting participants where required.

 

The Promoter may disclose personal information to third-party contractors or service providers (such as event suppliers) where necessary for the administration and delivery of the workshop. Personal information will not be shared with unrelated third parties unless required or authorised by law.

 

Personal information will not be used for marketing purposes without the participant's prior consent (or, where applicable, the consent of a parent or legal guardian).

 

The Promoter may collect and use non-identifiable, aggregated data for internal reporting, analysis, and evaluation purposes.

 

By participating in the workshop, participants (or their parent or guardian) consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information as outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
